Do I need to upgrade to Digital TV?

Lately, there have been many commercials on television surrounding the upgrade to "Digital Broadcasting", that imply you may need to upgrade your television or purchase a special converter box to continue watching television - for those who don't have Cable or Satellite services... Does this apply to you?
