Arrowhead Ave. San Bernardino, CA. 92415-0182 Attn: David Dawson, Senior Planner RE: Homestead Valley Rural Plan Dear Mr. Dawson, At a meeting of the Homestead Valley Community Council this date , it was decided that the area in Flamingo Heights between Luna Vista and Lilac Lane in Landers NOT be changed to commercial. We are currently gathering signatures from the public regarding this matter and they will be forwarded at the end of the month. However, the response so far has been "NO". The people want to keep our area rural! In addition, it is also strongly requested that our original Rural Community Plan , requiring two and one half acres per house that was accepted by the County in April 2007, be implemented. We appreciate your efforts to keep us informed regarding any proposed zoning or other changes in our area.
