There are rumblings about the town of Yucca Valley seeking to annex Yucca Mesa. Below is a letter from HVCC to LAFCO advising them that we want to be kept abreast of ANY developments in that regard. At this time it's just too early for HVCC to do anything, since the town of Yucca Valley hasn't actually requested a hearing or consideration on the matter. It's common knowledge that they will, but until then any petitions or protest drives will simply be roundfiled since the item doesn't actually exist yet w/the Local Agency Formation Commission of San Bernardino County. Until then, however, HVCC is on watch and has notified LAFCO to keep us in the loop....
