In a letter to San Bernardino County Supervisor Neil Derry, the Homestead Valley Community Council explains the community's opposition to Yucca Valley's Proposed expansion of their "Sphere of Influence" into the Yucca Mesa region of Homestead Valley. The letter goes on to explain that Yucca Valley's Application to LAFCO is, "Misguided" and, "Extremely unpopular" with residents, also citing town manager Andy Takata's assertion that for the next two decades, Yucca Valley will not have the fiscal resources to provide for such municipal services...
